Reduce Debts
Looking for a way to reduce debts? We have some suggestions!
Successful Debt Reduction
Successful debt reduction begins when you stop spending. Of course, you can't stop completely, but you can develop a budget and stick to it. Try to include only those things you absolutely need. This is just the first step. There are lots of other ways to reduce debts. If your credit is good, you can try transferring all your credit card debts to a credit card that has a 0% introductory rate and try to pay it off during the introductory period. (Be sure to choose a card that has no annual fee and no balance transfer fees.)
If you can't do this, you can reduce debts though a debt management program. There are five different kinds--debt consolidation, debt consolidation loans, debt consolidation mortgages, debt settlement and student loan debt consolidation. Most of these programs can help you eradicate your debts completely in five years, and all of them do it by getting you reductions in interest rates. You've probably always known high interest rates are killer, but you probably didn't realize how much reducing them can help. Check it out: The average household credit card debt in 2004 was $9,312. Assuming you are paying 14% interest and you're only paying the required monthly minimum (4% of your balance) it will take 13 years to pay of $9,312. This means you'll be paying $3,778.81 on this balance in interest, so you pay back $13,090.81.
Now can you see why a good debt management program can be so effective when you need to reduce debts. Find a good, professional program to help you reduce debts today.
